Each persons number of steps to earn exercise will be different.

The number of steps required is based on your age, weight, height and also importantly your stride length (which you entered during Pedometer setup), so please ensure that is correct.


On the last page of Pedometer setup you are shown two values, these are :

A) Number of steps until earning, this is the calculated base minimum steps you need to do before your walking exercise counts.

B) Number of steps per exercise value


To earn your first exercise value you have to do A + B combined, then your next is A + B + B and so on.


Your step goal does NOT effect these calculations, that is your own personal goal that can be higher or lower than these.
