The food database can be accessed from two places.
Firstly choose "Add to diary" on either the Home tab or the Diary tab.
Then you can either simply choose the "Search Food Database" option.
Then choose Database from the list of options.
The filter/search combo box on this screen only works on the section
selected , so if you have frequently selected it searches frequently,
recent selected then the search searches recent items.
So to search the online database you have to ensure database is
selected then enter the search term.
